Relying on the shapes and colors of the season, you will review techniques for printing with botanical dye using contemporary examples on paper. Then, watch a demonstration of how to design and carve your block. Finally, select from a range of pre-cut blocks and paper to create individual prints and a page of wrapping paper.
You will take home your beautiful botanical prints and wrapping paper, a handout about carving blocks and botanical dyes, and a journal for notetaking.
This is an all-levels workshop and no prior experience is required.
